My name is Clarisel Gonzalez, and I'm a New York City-based freelance journalist, independent producer and active photoblogger.

I'm a veteran journalist with a background as a reporter and an editor.

I am publisher and editor of Puerto Rico Sun Communications, which started as a website in the summer of 2002. Today it is an independent multimedia social entrepreneurship project, which includes this cultural news/photoblog and an online TV and radio show. I have been blogging since 2004.

Puerto Rico Sun is aimed at informing, empowering and building community. It focuses on themes related to Puerto Ricans and the Puerto Rican diaspora.

PRSUN Communications also publishes the Bronx Latino lifestyle blog at www.bronxlatino.blogspot.com.
